Seminar on Sacred Groves of South India, organized by CPREEC EIACP PC-RP, Chennai was held on Saturday, 20.12.2025 to celebrate the Centenary of Dr M. S. Swaminathan, Founder Chairman of CPREEC. Dr. Sultan Ismail, Governing Body Member CPREEC & Member, Tamilnadu State Planning Commission inaugurated the seminar. Dr. Nanditha Krishna, Honorary Secretary, CPREEC presided over the function. Eight eminent speakers delivered talks on various topics covering the Sacred Groves of South India. 125 students and Assistant Professors from various colleges and 30 members of the general public participated in the programme.
