Every year CPREEC organises exhibitions on various environmental themes for the benefit of school children and general public. This year our first exhibition is titled “Tiger!! Tiger!!”. The exhibition seeks to raise awareness about the need to save the tiger and would provide a complete overview of our national animal – its evolution, behaviour, social structure, cultural role, ecological significance, human impact upon it and what should be done to conserve it.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri. R. Sundararaju, I.F.S., Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Chief Wildlife Warden, Government of Tamilnadu on on August 04, 2008. Shri. Shekhar Dattatri, Wildlife Filmmaker interacted with the students after the inauguration. Inter-school Poster-designing competitions were held on August 09, 2008.

Timings: 10:00 a.m. – 05:30 p.m. (Mondays through Saturdays)
Venue: C. P. Ramaswami Aiyar Foundation, No.1, Eldams Road, Alwarpet, Chennai.
