The participating schools for the period 2007 – 2008 were evaluated by a team of experts, who visited the participating schools and interacted with the teachers and students. Based on their evaluation, the Three GSI Schools were selected for the Green School Award.

The schools were awarded the prizes at a function organsied at our premises on August 18, 2008. Dr. M.S. Swaminathan, Chairman of our Centre gave away the Awards to the schools.
