The workshop deliberations discussed about environmental education activities and effective way of inculcating environmental values. |

| The Department of Education, Corporation of Madurai, coordinated with CPREEC in orienting teachers on Education for Sustainable Development. Mrs.Jessy Jeyakaran, Dr.John Victor, Sr. Entomologist, Madurai Medical College and U.Thirunavukkarasu, Environmental Education Officer, CPREEC, discussed the issues of sustainable development, environment and health for the benefit of teacher participants. |

| Workshop for Teachers at Eco Club in-charge teachers at Dindigul, Tamilnadu |

| Tamilnadu Environmental Council in association with Department of Education organized a series of three workshops for teachers in Dindigul district. Resource materials were distributed to the participants. Mrs. Bhgyam Antonysamy, Director, Tamilnadu Environmental Council, Mr. Abdul Aziz, Scientist, Mr. Sheik Dawood, National Green Corps coordinator addressed the participants. Mr.U.Thirunavukkarasu, Environmental Education Officer, discussed about environmental challenges and initiated discussion. |
