National Green Corps is a programme of the Ministry of Environment and Forests Government of India, which aims to provide opportunities for children to understand the environment and environmental problems, through school eco-clubs. All Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, schools affiliated to the CBSE and ICSE participate in the programme. The members of these eco-clubs constitute the National Green Corps.

In order to facilitate NGC, a Nodal Agency as well as a Resource Agency, have been designated for every State/UT. These agencies will act as facilitators in implementing the scheme besides supplying the necessary resource materials to the eco-clubs.
