Interactive Session on Sir Nicholas Stern’s Review on the Economics of Climate Change

C.P.R. Environmental Educational Center (CPREEC) and the British Deputy High Commission, Chennai jointly organised a presentation and discussion on Sir Stern’s Review on the Economics of Climate Change at Hotel Taj Coromandel, Chennai on March 23, 2007.


Mr. Dimitri Zenghelis, Economic Adviser to UK Foreign and Common wealth office and Lead author of Stern Review presented the economics of climate change addressed the session by means of a PowerPoint presentation on the ‘Economics of Climate Change’ and also mentioned the global threats due to climate change. This was followed by an interactive discussion involving eminent environmentalists, researchers, state government and PCB officials, representatives from companies working in the field of Energy and Environment and the media.
