Biodiversity Conservation Education
Workshop for Judicial Officers at
the Tamilnadu State Judicial Academy, Chennai.

C.P.R. Environmental Education Centre in collaboration with the British High Commission, New Delhi implemented a project on Biodiversity Conservation through Capacity Building. the objective of the project was to provide participants an understanding of the design and nature of sustainable development programmes.

A series of 16 workshops for NGOs and Judicial Magistrates were organised in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamilnadu, covering about 650 participants. The workshops for Judicial Magistrates were conducted in collaboration with the respective State Judicial Academies. Many eminent experts in the field of biodiversity conservation were invited to address the participants.
