Wildlife Caught on Camera

C. P. R. Environmental Education Centre (CPREEC) organized a photography competition on wildlife to provide an opportunity for the photographic enthusiasts, amateur and professional photographers to showcase their talents. The contestants could send in their entries opting for any one of the three themes – Wildlife in General, Urban Wildlife or Human Interference in Wildlife.

As the response to the competition was overwhelming, CPREEC organized an exhibition at the Vennirul Art Gallery, C. P. Ramaswami Aiyar Foundation from December 03 – 20, 2007 to put on display all the entries that won prizes and acclaim. The exhibition was inaugurated by Ms. Bhargavi M. Devendra, Hon. Secretary, CPREEC. It was open to school students as well as the general public.
